ClubBot started on the sand at Bondi Beach — built by someone who knows what it's like to run a patrol.

ClubBot was created by Eugene Chung, a Vice Captain at Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club and founder of Delta Work, a consultancy focused on AI ways of working.

The idea came from a simple observation: before every patrol, captains and vice captains were chasing answers through folders, email threads, and WhatsApp groups. The information was there — it was just spread across too many places.

So ClubBot was built: a WhatsApp assistant that puts everything a patrol needs — surf conditions, rosters, SOPs, first aid procedures — into a single conversation. No app to download. No login to remember. Just the tool your club already uses every day.

ClubBot isn't hypothetical. It runs at Bondi SBLSC and is shaped by real patrol feedback every week.

ClubBot reads your club's own documents — not the internet. When it answers a question, it's from something your club wrote.
